ESL Installation
Like with paper price tickets, Electronic Shelf Labels have a range of accessories that are used to install them onto various types of product displays.
The most utilised is shelf strips; these attach the labels to retail shelving. We have a range of shelf strips with different backings, that enable attachments onto different types of shelving, including fridges and freezers. A consultant will advise which will work best for your shop, as part of the solution.
Some colour options are also available. For example, if you select Electronic Shelf Labels with a black casing, it can look nice to match them with black shelf strips.
Aside from shelving, there are lots of other single label holders, that fix to more bespoke displays:

What accessories are required to fit the entire store will be decided as part of the overall solution. Fitting the actual accessories and labels can be completed by your existing team, or we also provide an installation service for clients.
Other considerations for installation
Time of day – for most retailers minimising downtime is vital, therefore being able to complete the installation outside of retail hours is a real benefit.
A multi-skilled team – to complete the full installation requires electricians (for the Access Point base) and experienced fitters who understand the products.
Tools & machinery – ensure that the team have the correct equipment, cutters, glues, screws etc, as well as a lift for fitting Access Point bases onto high ceilings.
